I walked downstairs into our kitchen and I saw this guy I really like (his nickname is Button and we reconnected 2 years ago after 20 years) standing at our sink washing a few large pots in the sink. I was very happily surprised (this was his surprise visit to see me. In real life, he’s not been to my house yet). He said, “ahhhh, you can come on over here and dry these pots.” And smiled the cutest, sweetest smile. I was all smiles!! lol! I said, “what are you doing here and why are you washing our dishes?” Then softly laughed as I walked around to the side of the counter he was washing dishes on. I grabbed a drying dish towel and picked up the first pot laying on the drying mat and began to dry it. I was beaming from ear to ear. And I playfully, flirtatiously, poked him on his right side 2-3 times as we talked & smiled at each other. He’d “tuck” a little bit with each poke. I was about to put the first pot away (it wasn’t a cooking pot, but rather a lightweight, silver metal can with a handle used to water plants in a garden. The top, round edge of the pot was a bit brown from rust) when he said, “you know you should spray that to keep it from rusting?” I said, “spray it with what? Cooking oil?” He replied, “Yes. We used to have to do that when I was a kid after my mom washed the pots. It keeps them from rusting.” By this time, I was slightly standing behind him on his left side, but closer to the counter, cabinets and stove behind where he was washing pots (the entire scene was exactly how our kitchen looks right now). I turned the pot/can to look at the inside and it was a beautiful, shiny marble in a cream and brown swirl design. I turned the can to show him, “it’s not going to rust, look at how pretty it is.” He looked over his shoulder & smiled. Then, my mom came inside through the back door. She sat something on the counter, but continued to walk past us, looking down at her phone. I said excitedly, “Momma! Momma! This is Button.” (As if I wanted her to meet him for the 1st time.) She turned around and had the biggest smile as if she already knew who he was & that he was there. (They haven’t met in-person yet in real life, but they have met & talked over FaceTime.) She was dressed in all white (button up shirt and white, cotton pants). She had on a large brim, pink hat with a cute, pink, yellow, purple and green floral ribbon tied around the hat and into a bow. She also had on pink rain boots and there were several beautiful flowers sticking up out of her rain boots. They were also pink, yellow and purple flowers. And it looked like another watering can was tucked in her right boot, as well. Then, my two sons and 3-4 other young guys were standing also in front of the counter where Button was washing the pots. They guys were mostly dressed in basketball shorts and tank tops or shirtless. They were kind of sweaty as though they’d been in the backyard working out and practicing basketball. Kairi (currently my 3-foot, 7-year old) was taller than me, had on black basketball shorts and shirtless with a nice set of abs! I jokingly touched his chest and chuckled like, “look at my baby!” LOL! Messiah (currently my 5’ 5”, 12-year old) was at least Button’s height (6’ or 6’ 1”). He was holding an orange football under his left arm, had on black basketball shorts and a white tank top. Button went up to him and asked Messiah something (I don’t remember what he asked) and Messiah’s response was, “yeah, I can ask my Mom.” or “yeah, you should ask my mom.” Then, Button started hi-fiving the boys and talking to them about sports. Both my mom and I were still all smiles. Then… I woke up.
